Admission Testing

Some schools require cognitive and/or achievement testing during the application process. Dr. Fox offers the WISC-V and WAIS-5 (cognitive test) and WIAT-4 (achievement test) for ages 6 through 18 for school admission.

Tests Used

Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, 5^th Edition (WISC-V, ages 6-15)
Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale, 5^th Edition (WAIS-5, ages 16-18)
Wechsler Individual Achievement Test, 4^th Edition (WIAT-4, ages 6-18)

What to Expect

Parents will be asked to complete a history questionnaire for background information.
One testing session occurs in-office, lasting approximately 1-3 hours. Testing can be broken up into 2 sessions if both cognitive and achievement testing is needed.
Parents will receive a report with detailed test results and scores table(s) within 1 week from the testing date.

Cost

$600 for cognitive OR achievement test
$1000 for both cognitive and achievement tests
