
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is becoming increasingly considered, with individuals with subtle symptoms or long-term masking behaviors not being diagnosed until adulthood. Undiagnosed ASD in adults can contribute to ongoing social and relationship difficulties, emotional stress, and academic and professional underachievement. Long-term social difficulties or disinterest

The evaluation consists of an interview, relevant testing, consultation with family and/or providers, and a feedback session.

Testing typically occurs across a 2-day period, consisting of approximately 2-4 hour sessions. Completing all testing in one day is not recommended due to the mental demands of testing and its impact on performance.

Testing examines ASD symptoms, social functioning, cognitive skills, executive functioning, daily functioning, and mental health.

I will ask to speak with collateral sources such as parents, significant others, friends, professors, therapists, or other treatment professionals.

Approximately 1 to 2 weeks after the evaluation, there will be a feedback session to review test results and provide recommendations. The report will typically be available following feedback.

Adult autism evaluations cost $3000 and include testing for autism and any other co-occurring concerns.

Evaluation costs include time spent testing, interviewing, gathering collateral information, reviewing records, scoring tests, writing reports, and providing feedback.
